Himalayan Cedarwood (Cedrus deodara) — steam-distilled from the heartwood of the sacred Himalayan cedar (Deodar). Warmer, drier, and more balsamic than Atlas Cedarwood, with a soft smoky-sweet undertone. Naturally rich in himachalol and atlantone. A staple in oriental and woody-amber compositions, and traditionally used in temple incense across the Himalayas.
