Jasmine Sambac Absolute.
Jasmine Sambac (Jasminum sambac) — known locally as Mogra or Bela — is the night-blooming jasmine variety prized in Indian attar tradition and South Asian perfumery. The flowers are hand-picked between 4 and 7 am, before the sun strips the indolic top notes, and immediately transferred to extraction within hours of harvest. Our Sambac Absolute is a warm orange-amber liquid with an intense, narcotic, almost tropical headiness — green-fruity at the top, creamy-indolic at the heart, and faintly leathery at the base. Unlike the more pristine Grandiflorum, Sambac carries a sensual, candy-like sweetness that performs exceptionally in oriental, gourmand, and floral-amber accords. Each batch GC/MS verified.
